Hello, I'm having an issue with messages on my PS4.
I can receive messages, but only as notifications on ps4 and on my phone. The Message list on my console and message app on my phone won't load them, meaning I cannot actually view them. I only see them as notifications.
I send a message to a friend he cant receive it and it dissapears from my chat after like a minute.
If I can get a fix or help with this that would be great.

Controller isn't syncing and lost cable.
Pause/Break opens the shutdown and restart menu and doesn't act as the PS button any ideas ?
Or the recommendation of a decent 3rd party cable for sync.

So instead of just erasing the users from one PS4 and making my primary that one, I got it into my head to just switch hard drives so I don't have to lose the bookmarks of the web browser.
I did not know I would have to reinstall some software updates.
Well I did that using an ethernet cable. Went through all the steps and got to the install screen but after it restarted it still wouldn't start the PS4. Went back to safe mode to initialize it with the reinstall but I need a USB storage device and computer which I don't have right now. Not sure why if I already downloaded the update but that's why im here.
I think the original hard drives are already back in their respective PS4 and I tried updating one ps4 twice, once with the old and another time with the new but didn't work.
Can anyone tell why the ethernet eethernt method wont work? Would the USB method?

Hello basically I woke up today and my ps4 controller won't charge, I've tried everything to get it to work.. Reset button etc. I've also tried it in a different console and it will not charge or sync. Help will be much appreciated.

This is an ongoing issue for myself and others! It needs to be fixed.
The players you may know section on my friends list has been replaced by a page advertising the different ps apps for the past few months. I thought maybe they just moved the section, but even on the ps app the players you may know section is coming up empty. I’ve checked my settings and I have everything turned on, but I’m still not seeing anyone. Any solutions?
So my system says, disk may be dirty or damages and only gives me one option to close application and eject disk and it does it for all my disk games, any help

i can save and load from games that have a unique save/ load layout (god of war, persona 5, Nier Automata, etc) but games that use the ps4’s save/load layout (where the Background turns dark and the save datas are shown from top to bottom with the game’s save icon) like Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Samurai warriors 4 don’t allow me to press any button when I reach the “load game data” page. I can play the game if it has a “continue” button but I still won’t be able to load or save if it has the PS4 “save/load game data” pop up. Here is an example of the ps4’s own save/load screen, but in my case, there is no white outline and I can’t press any button here. Any way to fix this?
Every time I try the number that's written everywhere 1-800-345-7669, it just tells me it doesn't recognise the number as a real number. I've tried it without the 1 and in various different ways but to no avail, and I need to call up because the problem I'm having seems to be pretty rare and no one knows what to do.
I've had a PS4 for about two months or so, and it had connected to the internet just fine, I'd played free games online just fine; everything was fine and dandy. Yesterday I purchased PS Plus and now every time I log into my PS4 the entire internet connection of the household goes out, including the PS4's.
I've messaged PS Support on Twitter and they told me it's not an issue with PS Plus as it's simply a subscription service but instead solely the responsibility of my ISP. I've also phoned up Playstation Support and they told me PS Plus adds features such as cloud storage and the background processes for these features uses so much data that my connection can't handle it. Kinda mixed messages there then. So I'd prefer to ask the community and get genuine suggestions than get some jargon for someone who's just desperate to get on their lunch break.
I don't want to have to change my internet provider just because there's a chance it's causing this, and it would be extremely difficult anyway given that the whole household uses this router and I'm not in charge.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My PS4 mic is not working ever since I bought psvr. It says in party that people can hear me, but they can’t. This is not a joke they are playing on me. Please help.
So this is my problem. I've been getting this error code (CE-34878-0) ever since I got my ps4. It would happen with every game i've played. Now i've tried everything possible to get it fixed but nothing works. It generally happens when i first load up a game or in the middle of me playing it. Also, i have recently been getting an error code (NP-34841-0) on Black Ops 3, and Sony support is useless to when it comes to this error code. Any suggestions?
note: i have kept silent about these errors for almost 3 years but now speaking out on it
