I'd like to summon the tech gurus here, but can't think of who they are.
Anyway. Long story short
I was away for the weekend when an electrical storm came through. Lightning hit the house and killed my TV My PS4 was connected to the TV, but the power supply (on PS4) was unplugged. Come home and go to do a bit of gaming before heading to bed, so move the PS4 to the other TV and I can't get any picture or sound. Is it possible that the current that killed the TV has gone through the HDMI cable and killed the HDMI port? The console is still getting power and all.
And would this be covered under warranty?
