When i first bought my ps4 my cousin just logged in with his information by midtami including his birthday ..
So now i just want to switch my account from child account to the family administrator without deleting all the accounts because i bought many games from the store and I don't want to lose all of them !

Playstation turning on by itself.
I've been having this issue where my PS4 will just turn itself on randomly. Over the past few weeks it's been getting worse, and last night it just kept turning itself on and off. After doing this for a while, it won't start up normally and I have to connect the controller to the PS4 with the cable to be able to activate it. Occasionally it will also just go into rest mode, while I'm playing, which has happened on the most unfortunate moments.
The biggest issue however is, that sometimes the PS4 will have to repair the external hard drive because it gets disconnected incorrectly when the PS4 turns itself on & off a few times. Several times it has happened that it just erased everything on the hard drive, and I have to download everything that's on there again....
The weird thing is, this only happens after I've used the PS4 either that day. If I don't touch it for a week, everything is fine. As soon as I turn it on and play for a day, I have this issue the next few days. Does anyone know what might cause this problem? I'm really getting sick and tired of this and am really hesitant to turn my PS4 on again.

headphones not working in italy?
so I'm from america but I'm spending about a month in Italy. the play station works over here but my headset isn't. I've got the astro a10's and I can hear everything just fine but the microphone doesn't register. I tried using my iphone head phones but had the same problem. the family I'm staying with have one of those standard playstation earbud and mic which actually worked but again. it's from the italian playstation. i don't know what to do. any advice or does someone know whats going on?

Ps4 mic not working
Hey everyone
Never really used a mic before but i got one and i can hear everything but my friends cant hear me when i talk.
I have looked at videos and stuff but nothing fixes my problem.
The jack is plugged all the way in.
the Adjust Mic Level is lit up in settings
when i press on the adjust level, i talk but the test bar doesnt move. (Even when i put the volume all the way up)
input device is connected to the headset. Ive tried different controllers, different mic’s. Nothing seems to work. And i have tested the mic in other devices, it works perfectly fine. Any idea?

Dual shock 4 orange light when charging and won't turn on
I bought a dual shock 4 controller yesterday, preowned. When I got home though, I plugged my wire into the ps4 and plugged it into the controller. But, the light was a dark orange and the controller wouldn't turn on, at all. I tested the wire and ps4 on my friends controller and it worked, everytime. I also checked another wire, same result. What do I do? I've tried resetting the controller but it didn't work.

PS4 Screen Problems
A few weeks ago, one of my mates accidentally knocked out the power cable for the PS4. Once it was reconnected and turned on, the screen was covered in faint, but still noticeable red pixels. The effect increased or decreased depending on the HDMI cable used and the TV it was connected to. Now, it will work on one HDMI cable and TV; every other cable and TV will result in a black screen.
I managed to fix it by dropping the resolution to the lowest it can go which seemed to work for a while, but now the screen will frequently go black, almost making it impossible to properly do anything on the PS4. Is there anything I can do myself to stop this, or do I need to get the PS4 repaired?

PS4 will not start
Recently was playing some games with some friends locally using wired controllers, guy walked in front and pulled the PS4 off a small table about a foot and half off the ground, pulled the power cable, landed at a precarious looking angle.
Upon turning it back on, it's asking me to insert a USB with the most recent update, 5.55. Followed all the steps and have correctly named the directories, use both update files on the update page. However, the result is either that "The update file is corrupted" or "The update file cannot be used"
I've looked at countless solutions and problems other people have had and none have helped me, and I really do not want to format my PS4, I have countless saves that are not in the cloud. I'm really reaching for some help right now.

Lost My WWE2K16 Saved Progress
I had an older PS4 that I sold last year because I needed money at the time but I saved all of my progress on WWE2K16 to my PSN. Now, it's all gone. I had everything in the game unlocked and I can't get it back since 2K servers no longer support the game. So all my progress and money I spent on items in the game is all gone. I have no way of getting it back.

My wireless transmitter broke for my stealth 500's.I'm trying to use the headset with controller I'm using a aux cable my output works but my input does not register a wireless controller connected to headset instead it says none.any help appreciated

God of War no shield icon
I purchased God of War one week ago (CD, not playstation store) and its a great game but, i cant see my shield icon so i cant change my shield skin. Btw i purchased the Day one edition so i normally get 3 extra skins for my shield.

Overwatch on disc can't get in to run on ps4
Disc has been installed. I've connected blizzard connection account to my ps4 as the game didn't work.
I now get a window up that says I need to pay and connect to ps+. That can't be right. I've inserted a 12 digit code also in the same window but I only get back to the ps+ window.

Party Settings
In Party Settings, my friend's have a Video Quality for Share Play option when I don't. I think this is affecting my Share Play. No one can join my Share Play but I can join theirs. We all have good connection.

PS4 keeps saving footage..
I've been having a really strange problem for a few weeks now.. My PS4 keeps saving footage, without me touching the Share button. At first I suspected it to be a bug in my profile settings or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case, now that I've tested and excluded a bunch of factors:
- So I started by making a backup from the System menu, reinitialized my system and then restored the backup I made. That didn't solve it.
- Thinking it might be some dirt or grime underneath the Share button, I tried out several controllers, but the problem occurs with all of them. Regardless of whether the controller is being used wired or wireless.
- I ended up replacing my Playstation 4 (launch model) with a Playstation 4 Pro. Now, seeing as the before mentioned backup also backs up your settings, I wanted to make sure I wasn't backing up the cause of the problem. I copied all my savegames to a USB stick - one by one, mind you - did a completely fresh install on the new system and then copied all the save files back once my profile was activated on it. All my themes I simply redownloaded. And the problem persists.
The only thing left is the system software, I think. Or maybe one of the games I own, somehow. But I usually keep all of those on an external drive when I'm not going through them or playing them in any way. Playing through the Dark Souls Remaster was the first time I started having this issue though, I think. I can't remember having it before then.

Sony Gold Wireless Headset Problem
Hello guys i have the new gold headset ps4, and when i play party in games i hear all the people mics screaming when i talk and they say that my mic is the problem, every one that i talked with him about it says that its in the setting somewhere but dont how to fix it, ive tries to reset the headphones thru the cmpanion app sry for my englishh thank yall

I think 5.55 update is forcing my ps4 to go into a safemode loop that I can't get out of. Help!
I had this problem a few days ago. I spoke with two ps4 techs, deleted and reinstalled the update, and did a complete system wipe (Which was working fine without issue for a few days) but I just closed out of a game, the screen went black and it keeps restarting and going into safemode. I wasn't having these issues before the 5.55 update and it keeps telling me that I have to reinstall it. But everytime I do reinstall it it just loops right back to the safe mode screen and it asks for me to reinstall the update again.

Trouble logging into to PSN
I have been away for a while and when I tried to log in again, I had trouble with username and password. When I tried to reset my password, I never received any emails (I checked all folders in case it had ended up in the spam folder etc.). I have previous emails from Playstation where they confirm purchases etc, so I know that my username is connected with the email address I have previously used. I have tried a number of times to reset password, but I never receive any mails. I hate to loose my account since I have a number of trophies and games. I guess I will lose it all if I set up a new account. Any idea what I can do?

Connecting controllers
I recently went to my friends house with both my controllers and connected them to his ps4 when I got home I tried to reconnect them but it wouldn’t work I know you can use Bluetooth but I can’t get past the login screen because I can’t control the ps4 can anyone help me
