I am having an issue with my PS4 not using the saves already on the console. Please could you help?
Due to my first PS4 becoming unusable due to a power fault (it turns itself off after ten minutes of playing on it), I went out and bought another yesterday.
After going through the initial setup, I signed into the PSN with my gametag, and downloaded all of my previous saves, data, etc. from the cloud onto the console - therefore, when I play a game, it should pick up where I left off - or so I thought!
Before my first PS4 become unusable, I got about half way through completing Homefront the Revolution. However, when I play the game now on my new PS4, it seems to not use my previous saves, even though I ensured they were downloaded from the cloud to my console.
I also tried this with Evolve and had the same effect.
Has anyone any ideas on how to get my PS4 to use the previous saves in my games? I'm not up to completing every single one again...
I'm thinking it could be an autosave issue, with the games creating an autosave as I load the application, thereby overwriting my previous game saves?
