I booted up my playsation 4 about a day after the latest update to find out that it wont start, on the first screen it states "cannot start the PS4", "connect DUALSHOCK 4 using the USB cable and then press the PS button".
Doing so comes on to the second picture. it states "Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for re-installation for version 4.70 or later. You can download the file for re-installation from playstation.com". Two options were available, cancel and okay
Later that week (today), i went out and bought a 32GB storage device, downloaded the update files for 4.71 as it is the latest one, and plugged it into the PS4 and pressed okay. however the next screen read the following. " The USB storage device is not connected. (CE-30774-1). I looked up the error code up and i had to reformat the USB stick i just bought to ether FAX32 or exFAX. using disc management i reformatted the stick to ex FAX and reinstalled the update and transferred the update to the newly formatted stick and placed the stick into the PS4.
the result was the same so i reformatted the reformatted stick again but with FAX32 instead and error CE-30774-1 still comes up.
what should I do now?
