System update 4.50 - 4.55 problems

I've been offline for a while and I had to install 4.50 to play online. Soon after I was experiencing problems with the controls suddenly ghosting and I went through all methods to fix it. Later on I reinstalled 4.50 and it seemed to have ceased = happy gamer.

4.55 had downloaded and I was notified so I checked it out online and it was to aid stability to the previous update so I installed it.... BAM! Soon after my connection had terminated and now my wifi and ethernet connection is screwed, I could play online before that with no issues apart from what was caused by the dodgy 4.50. But now my speed is about 700 kbps!!! wth?

I have gone through every possibility on my end, both speed test on my phone and laptop on wifi have not changed but the PS4 itself is horrific, so the problem is on Sony's end and not mine.

I wonder how long it will take before a patch for the patch is released?
