Evening, I'll try and cut a long story short, basically I've been charged £79.99 for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands - Gold Edition just over a month ago. I had no intention of buying this game, especially not at a ridiculous £79.99. I'd argue it wasn't me or anyone in my home that purchased the game..
I noticed by chance after going in to cancel PlayStation plus as I was no longer using it. I checked previous transactions and was shocked to see an amount for £79.99. I immediately thought I'd been hacked. I've logged into the PS4 and the game is indeed there . There is a play tab but I didn't click it.
My PS4 is used mostly for plex/media, rarely games, I used PlayStation plus for a blast on Battlefield but that was about it. As I stopped playing BF I decided to cancel +. I can only presume the game has been downloading while to PS4 has been switched on.
I have young children at home, the chances of them navigating their way to purchase a game is highly unlikely.
So I'm left with the most expensive game known to man.
Chances of being refunded I'm guessing are very slim. It's a awkward situation to be in. If I do a chargeback I risk having my account closed. Can I still access the games I've knowingly purchased? What a mess, £79.99!!!!!! It's £31.99 on Amazon for a hard copy, Jesus.
