Hope someone can help
I bought a faulty PS4 on ebay which wouldnt power on. I fixed the PSU and all seemed ok until I put a disc in when it wouldnt read anything. Opened the drive and cleaned the lens but now it will read dVD's but not games. Gives error ce 35888 2 which Google tells me is usually when the wrong drive is fitted. The seller is adamant the drive is original tho.
Also though I am unable to perform any system updates even via safe mode. If I try it freezes and gives error e fffffffb or the same error as the games, ce35888 2. Tried both 4.07 update and full system files install with same result. Wont rebuild the database either
Anyone offer any help - please!!!!!
