PS4 DVD player issue

Hi.

I have a problem with the DVD player on my new PS4 and I thought that this might be a good place to look for an answer. When I press X to play a DVD, I get a blue screen for a split second between leaving the Playstation system and the DVD starting to play. The same thing happens when I want to go from the DVD back to the Playstation system. It's almost as if it's switching from one HDMI to another but that definitely isn't what's happening. It's only a small thing but I'd prefer to have a smooth transition from the Playstation system (just as when you load up a game) if possible.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?
