Yesterday I bought a PS4 Pro and hooked it up to my 4K Sony TV. At first the DHCP registered as 1.4 automatically and would not change. It also showed as HDR Not Supported on the TV. After experiment with the settings on the TV and ensuring everything was enabled it still would not work. I realised I had my VR ports connected and decided to disconnect and connect the HDMI straight to the TV and voila! Full support for the resolution and HDR enabled. The frustrating thing is i want to receive the benefits of HDR and full resolution without having to disconnect and reconnect my VR every time. I have exhausted every fix I can think of and was wondering if anyone had any advice? I'm going to be hella disappointed if I have spent over £800 for a VR and 4K HDR experience to have to keep switching everything every time I want to play! Thanks in advance! P.S I had to tweak the settings in my Sony TV to get everything enabled. I'm happy to pass these on if anyone needs them!
