Hello,
I have just changed the hard drive on my PS4 from a 500 GB to a 1TB and the process of backing up my files and inserting the new hard drive went smoothly. However after reinstalling a couple of games when i went to load them up i recieved an error saying that the disc couldn't be read as it may be damaged or dirty. For Skyrim, the first game i tested after reinserting this the message hasn't come up since, however with battlefield 1 the message continues to come up, sometimes instantly other times minutes after loading the disc. Both of these games worked fine before the hard drive swap. I wondered if this was a bug or problem that others have had or the hard drive change may have caused or if the disc has in fact just been scratched some how, although i can't see when that may have happened.
Any help would be appreciated as i fear that if i do get the disc repaired this may turn out to be a much bigger problem releatin to the hard drive change
Update Im having the same problem now with black ops 3. Upon loading the disc i am met with a message saying the application data couldn't be read. Is this to do with the online aspect of both games?
