hoping that someone can help me out here, i was bought the 500P headphones for my bday only yesterday, they were bought through amazon and are brand new. i've sat for 3 hours trying to pair them to the transmitter and have followed the instruction manual over and over again. so basically if i hold the transmitters button down for 5 seconds and then release it it blinks, which is normal, i then pick up my headphones and press the power button, the voice says 'power on' and then says 'pairing mode' which is normal too. after that the transmitter light stops blinking and stays solidly lit for about 3 seconds simultaniously the headphones flash once and then they seem to turn themselves off and the transmitter goes back to pulsing on and off. at first I though i was being slow so i've done it over and over and over again. its not the power as the headphones were put on charge last night, and to double check i let them charge earlier and they were done in 10 mins. the optical cable is pushed all the way in, along with the transmitter also. thing is i've scrolled through all of the problems on turtle beach's website and there seems to be nothing like this at all. i've input all the settings to see if that'd work and no luck. i've reset the playstation and everything. top it all of turtle beach were no help at all. oh and the ps4 is completely up to date. just wondering if someone knows if there'll be a setting or something thats maybe stopping the transmitter or headphones from pairing? or if i'm just being dumb and missing something.
