PS4 Model Number - CUH-1116A
I recently moved house and changed the TV that I hook my PS4 up to. The old one had an output of up to 1080p, whereas the current one is only capable of showing up to 1080i or 720p, and has no HDMI inputs. It does, however, have a DVI input, so I bought a DVI to HDMI connector online and hooked up the PS4 this way, with sound going through the Optical Out to a 5.1 system. The PS4 worked great for a few days, auto-detecting an appropriate resolution for its video output (720p for some games, 1080i for others), however a couple of days ago when I turned it on I got a 'No Signal' message on the TV (despite no settings having been changed on the console or any cables removed). Sound was still coming through my speakers when I turned them on and I could hear that the PS4 had booted to the menu screen. Initially I thought it was an issue with the TV, cable, or DVI adapter, however I tried the cable and adapter with my Sky HD box on the same TV and it works absolutely fine. Following that I tried booting it into safe mode but still got the 'No Signal' message, and finally I connected it up the a friend's TV which is 1080p-capable and it also gave a 'No Signal' message (both turning it on normally and booting in safe mode). After turning the console on, the light on the top turns white after a few seconds as expected. I would be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions about what the issue might be or if there's any solution.
Thanks
