Hi guys,
Since the Titanfall 2 update came out, I have been unable to install 50% of my game updates. I've still been unable to download/install this patch, and at first I thought it was Titanfall 2 specific as other games were patching fine, but I've since found out Destiny, The Witcher, Fallout 4 and other games have patches that I can't download. It attempts to download them, says 'preparing download' with a percentage that slowly climbs, then times out and issues a 'failure to connect to the server'. I'm having no issues downloading updates for the smaller indie games. I'm very confident it is not our network.
I have 130GB of hard drive space available. I'm on a 1000/500 fibre connection with no internet troubles whatsoever. I can download large game demos without problems.
I've tried:
- Downloading on another network (4g on my phone)
- Restarting the console
- Signing out/in to PSN
- Tried another user
- Reseating all cables
- Changed DNS to Google, and MTU to 1473
- Restored licenses
- Tried both Ethernet and WIFI
I was going to delete Titanfall and reinstall it before I found out that other games are affected too.
Has anyone come across this issue before? It sucks, as I can't play online until they're patched, and I've no issues playing online or connecting to PSN otherwise. I'm also picking up FFXV for the weekend and this has a day one patch I assume I will not be able to download.
I'm thinking I need to format the console, but that's extremely invasive.
Any advice appreciated!
