My console is 9months old, and I put a 2TB hdd in it straight away (not sure if that's relevant) all seemed ok. Then about 4months back free space started disappearing at around 0.1gb per second, I've seen it drop by 200/300/400gb, only for me to panic and switch it off, only for it to correct itself upon turning back on. Not only this but my PS4 internet has dropped from 20-30mbps to around 10kbps-1mbps (at best) and most recently it had been getting very hot very quickly, and for the first time it prevented me from opening a game the other day.
Does this stem from a hdd issue? Fan problems (I can never hear it unlike most)?
In the last 18months I've had 2 PS3s break, a faulty Sony TV a dodgy 5.1 Sony system and now a PS4. No problems with ANY other electrics whatsoever. And as for Sony Customer Service, all I can say is that I've experienced the absolute worst in dealing with them. Patronising, arrogant, dangerously uninformed, unwilling to take any responsibility until I flat out prove the issue with evidence of the faults, and even then they aren't apologetic.
