hi all,
the PS button on my dual shock 4 isn't working. when i press it nothing happens - no lights, controller doesn't register. I've plugged the controller in to my laptop and looked at it in device manager to check if the button presses are registering and they're not, all the other buttons are working fine, however. I've also stripped the controller down to see if there's anything obvious obstructing the button contact - there isn't. I've tried pressing the reset button to reset - no joy. i think there's another reset method that where you press the share button and the ps button at the same time but i can't try this because the ps button doesn't work.
i think i'm going to need to fork out for a new controller but thought i'd post on here to see if anyone has any ideas i could try. seems a shame that the controller is kaput considering all the other buttons are working fine.
Even if there was a way to sync the controller without the PS button that would keep me going for now. any thoughts?
